Branding, storefront signs
Found is “an unexpected collection.” Carousel horses and highway signs. Vintage jewelry and candles. You never know what you’re going to find in this shop. The owner, Mary Cambruzzi, curates a surprising array of midcentury design. She wanted branding that was clean and strong. So I dug back into early 20th-century typography. In the end, marrying a Bauhaus sans with Kris Sowersby’s monospaced Pitch Italic brought vintage and contemporary together into one look. Just as Mary does in her shop.
